What We Offer

Sain Baseball Camp in Torrance is designed for kids ages 6–12. We focus on making baseball fun while helping players improve their skills and confidence. Whether your child is new to the game or already playing in a local league, our camp provides the right balance of learning and play.

We will provide quality instruction of baseball fundamentals, while fostering a positive attitude and appreciation for the game of baseball. We focus on keeping your child healthy, avoiding injury and allowing each player to reach their full potential. We realize that we are preparing athletes for more than just the game of baseball. We are dedicated to instilling values that will contribute to your child’s success in whatever they choose to do.

At camp, your child will:

Practice hitting, throwing, pitching, catching, and base running.
Play skill-based games that keep them engaged.
Learn teamwork and good sportsmanship.
Build confidence in a positive, supportive environment.

Coaches

Our coaching staff has years of experience working with young players in Torrance and the South Bay. We understand what it takes to keep kids motivated, safe, and excited to learn baseball.

Grady Sain

Camp Director

Coach Sain was a 3 year varsity letterman and earned all-league honors while playing shortstop for West Torrance High. His baseball career continued at El Camino JC, Chico State and Azusa Pacific University. Coach Sain holds a BA in Physical Education and an MA in Physical Education/Administration from CSU Dominguez Hills. He teaches Health Education when not on the field and is the PE/Health Department Chairman at South High School.

Zak Krislock

Coach

Zak is the Head Coach at Chadwick School in Palos Verdes Peninsula. He previously served as the pitching coach at South High, under Grady Sain. Zak was a graduate of South High and went on to The University of Oklahoma where he was named 1st-team all-Big 8, and participated in The College World Series. Zak was drafted by the Houston Astros and played 4 years of Minor League ball. He also is a varsity assistant at Mira Costa High School during the football season.

Summer 2026 Camp Info

Sain Baseball Camp Sessions will follow the LA county department of health guidelines pertaining to youth sports at the time of camp.

Session Costs

Single Session: $280.
$40 discount each additional session.
$80 discount for a sibling.
Payment Type/Due: Cash payment is due on the first day of camp.
